Why on-line entries ?

Accepting on-line entries has advantages for dog clubs and exhibitors alike. There are many advantages for dog clubs to participate in this.

As dog show entries continue to dwindle in numbers, there is increasing pressure on clubs and show secretaries to take entries up to the last possible moment to improve their numbers. Submission of entries on-line makes it a breeze to accept last minute entries.

What we offer ?

• On-line entry for all conformation shows and obedience/agility trials that agree to participate. If you are new to this see our Demo Area to try out the service.
• Access to our exclusive on-line database of previously entered dogs so that an exhibit can be selected by registration number and details can be pre-filled on the entry form.
• Use of our SSL secure server for collection of all credit card information. For added security, credit card numbers are definitely not stored on any on-line database or distributed to any third parties.
• Production of a printable summary and unique receipt number for every exhibitor who submitted an on-line entry, plus an auto-generated email response containing summary details.
• Club login (password protected) for show secretaries to manage their show administration. This includes access to a display of exhibitors and entries received so far, ability to close on-line entries for their own show/s and to download exhibitor and entry files (in CSV for Excel Spreadsheet format) for use in catalogue preparation.
• Special event and club membership payment facilities can also be provided as part of the on-line show entry process.

What does it cost ?

There is absolutely no cost to any club wishing to provide on-line entries for their shows at OZentries. However as establishing and maintaining the technology to provide this service is costly, we do pass on a small fee to exhibitors using the service, and these are automatically calculated and clearly displayed on the payment form. The total charges made by the on-line entry service are:

1. Entry fees as stipulated on the show schedule
2. Cost of any ordered catalogues
3. Mailing fee for return post of exhibit numbers (set by the club - normally 55 cents per exhibitor)
4. On-line processing fee to cover OZentries costs (currently $1 per entry)
5. Credit card fees to cover our bank's charges to us - currently $0.75 per exhibitor plus 2.8% of the total amount

The fees charged in 1, 2 and 3 above are then paid to the club conducting the event - those in 4 and 5 are retained by us to cover our costs.

How do I sign-up ?

Now that you realise the advantages of accepting on-line entries it is very simple for you to sign-up on behalf of your club. With the comparatively low costs offered by us and the reduced administration effort for both show secretaries and exhibitors, you cannot afford not to participate.

Simply email us at contact@ozentries.com and send us sufficient details about your show(s) to enable us to make an assessment of your requirements and establish your show. Once established you will be contacted for confirmation and provided with your club's password protected login details so that you can manage your show administration.

It is important that when you submit your show schedule to your controlling body (e.g. Dogs NSW, ACTCA, Dogs Vic etc.) please make sure it is clearly marked that you will be providing on-line entries at OZentries.com by adding one of the images below to your show schedule (or other advertising material).

While the process that we have designed is simple and straight forward, we do realise that show secretaries may need some help through the initial stage of working wirh on-line entries.
