Frequently Asked Questions

The topics below cover a range of questions that are continually asked of us. Please view the headings and click on any appropriate heading to reveal answers.

Entry Questions

This is the most common question we are asked. The simple answer is once you have submitted your entries and received a receipt number, your entries are confirmed as received and your receipt page is proof of receipt. You can also login and check all entries submitted. Please do not contact OZentries separately for verification without first following this process.

On completion of your entries and payment we provide a summary page showing all exhibits entered, the class entered and at which shows. You can either print this page or provide the email receipt sent to you as proof of entry. Our login facility is fully mobile compliant, so you can login at shows to provide proof of entry as well.

Yes we provide a fully mobile compliant facility to login and view all submitted entries as well as many other exhibitor functions. You must register your email address and receive your password prior to logging in.

Once on-line entries have been submitted you can login and change limited details such as class entered, name (e.g. add a title) or owner details. Any change must be processed prior to the published closing date of the show. Any other changes, additions, cancellations or withdrawals, etc., must be done in the normal way through the show secretary.

There are no restrictions to events wishing to use our service. We do ask that each show prominently displays our "on-line entries available" logo on their published show schedule to advertise to exhibitors that the show is taking on-line entries.

Email confirmation is always sent following a successful on-line transaction. There are two common reasons why exhibitors may not receive this confirmation email:

  • An incorrect email address is entered when submitting entries. Yes this is far more common than you would think.
  • The email has been re-directed to your junk mail folders by your own email program or possibly by your email service provider. Again common but easily fixed – you must enable all email from ozentries.com.au and ozentries.com to be received.

Entry Form Questions

You need to enter on-line all your exhibit’s details exactly as show on the registration papers you would have received from your State control. Our entry program validates that all required details are entered and as far as possible that the details entered are in the correct format.

Where a selected class is not offered at a show that entry will not be accepted e.g. you have selected a sweepstakes class at two shows and sweepstakes are only held at one of the shows, and in this case only one sweepstakes entry is accepted and displayed.

If you attempt to enter the same exhibit in the same class at the same show where you have previously entered, that entry will not be accepted. However if a duplicate is submitted in a different class then that entry will be accepted.

If an entry is attempted for an ineligible class i.e. where your exhibit's age (as calculated from the date of birth) is outside the limits for a selected class at the date of the show, or an incorrect gender class is selected, that entry will not be accepted and you will receive a message advising you of this.

Almost all exhibits registered in Australia are owned by an individual or a group of individuals. You must enter the ownership names and member number as specified on the exhibit registration papers.

For single ownership simply check "individual" for ownership type and enter initial/s and last name as indicated, and then enter the corresponding owner member number.

For joint or co-ownerships you can check "kennel/partnership" ownership type and type in owner name and initials into the last name field (e.g. for John Smith and Patricia Jones enter Smith & Jones or Smith J & Jones P in last name field) and then enter the corresponding owner member number.

Alternatively for co-ownerships you can check "individual/joint owners" as membership type and enter initials of all joint owners in the initials field and all surnames in the last name field (e.g. for Jim and Kay Brown enter J & P in initials field and Brown in last name field) and then enter the corresponding owner member number.

If you have used OZentries to enter on-line previously then your exhibit details are stored in our database and can be pre-filled on the entry form to save you time in entering details.

The exhibitor pre-fill list is where you enter your membership number, click "List" and your member pre-fill list will be displayed.

Your member pre-fill list is a selection display of all exhibits that are linked to your member numbers. Simply select the exhibit required and then either click "Go" to pre-fill details on the entry form. To add new exhibits or remove those no longe required, you must login to do that.

Payment & Security Questions

Payment for on-line entries can only be made by credit card – Visa, Mastercard and AMEX. All credit card payments are processed via our on-line payment gateway and exhibitors will be advised immediately if payment has failed for any reason.

OZentries never stores your credit card details and our payment process complies with all payment card industry standards. Our SSL secure server provides 128 bit encryption to ensure protection of your credit card details for the transaction.

OZentries have implemented levels of security and audit trails that comply with all regulations and banking standards that are imposed on any on-line business.

All exhibit and exhibitor data collected is stored in our databases and access is segmented by shows. Show data is only provided with secure password access to the show secretary for the club conducting the show.

Our database and banking transaction records all store the date and time that any transaction is processed along with a unique receipt number and other exhibitor and exhibit information. This information can be retrieved in the event of an issue or dispute.
